Details of a journey undertaken by Private Patrick O'Malley (Service Number 12871) of the 6th Battalion Royal Dublin Fusiliers, as part of Expeditionary Force Egypt to France. Gives information about travel from Egypt via Italy to France, battle in the Aigne-Picardie area of the Somme on the 8th October 1918 (O'Malley received a gunshot wound to the chest; casualty numbers also given), details of daily life, the Armistice, and discharge. Part of a collection relating to Thomas Fallan, his brother Michael James Fallan, and Patrick O'Malley.
