The 7th Manchester produced a newspaper for a while. There were six editions, of which I have three and the museum at Ashton Town Hall has some too. Between us we have material from all six.

Copies of 'The Seventh Manchester Sentry', No. 1, 9th January 1915; No. 4, 8th April 1916.

Pte. 2393 John Clarke Morten, 1/7th Bn. Manchester Regiment, was commissioned Second Lieutenant and later attached to the Royal Air Force.
