Includes articles about the Gallipoli landings, in particular the writings of E. Ashmead Bartlett - correspondent with the forces on the Dardenelles.
Part of a collection relating to the service of Dr W.R. Blore M.C. RAMC, including his letters home, his notebooks from his service as a doctor at Suvla Bay, Gallipoli, and on the Western Front - as well as his sleeping bag and many other artefacts including a photo of Blore outside his dugout at Suvla Bay. In his letters it is clear that Blore's experiences did not match Bartlett's account.
