This is a short letter from Dr W.R. Blore M.C. RAMC sent on 22nd April 1916, from Egypt to his Mother. It describes how he has finally washed his sleeping bag.
That sleeping bag is visible in a photo of Dr Blore outside his dugout at Suvla Bay, Gallipoli in 1915, and mentioned in letters.
Also part of this collection are all Blore's letters home, his notebooks from his service as a doctor at Suvla Bay, Gallipoli, and on the Western Front - as well as this sleeping bag and many other artefacts.
