58600: Trench Art Candle Holder made from Shell Case

The term 'Trench Art' covers itmes made by the soldier's themselves, or by locals and sold as souvenirs.

Made from a cut-down 18 pdr shell case, with added handle. The case was manufactured in 1916 and last refilled in November 1917.
