A note written by Reggie Crooke, and found after his death, saying goodbye to his friend Len Ornellas, and leaving him his army pay.

Pte. 40314 Leonard Ornellas, North Staffordshire Regiment

Acting Bombardier 121476 George (Reggie) Crooke, 113th Bty. 25th Bde., Royal Field Artillery, died 5th October 1918, aged 26, buried Berthaucourt Communal Cemetery, Pontru.
