58543: Letter from Reggie Crooke to Len Ornellas

online resource
posted on 2024-02-23, 23:00 authored by Great War Archive Project Team

This is the first of a series of letters which chronicles the friendship between my grandfather, Len Ornellas, and George Reginald Crooke (Reggie), whom he met while they were both recuperating at an army field hospital in Cayeux. It was written, I think, when they were both still at the hospital.
