<p dir="ltr">The letter dated April 1915 from Private George Kipps to his mother, suggests that Easter seems to have been fairly quite in their part of the trenches. he says' I think they all went home yesterday to keep up Good Friday'.
The final communication ( October 1915),to his mother is from his Commanding Officer, informing her that her son had been shot in the face.</p>
