58416: Postcard from Walter Lynn to his mother

Walter had obviously been home on leave, and was telling his mother he had got back to his camp safely. Walter wrote
"Dear Mother
Arrived safe about 6.30. I stayed in Spalding tiil 11 because it was a fast train to Kings X. The boys said they wished I had brought some strawberries
Yours Wally"

The year is just visible on the postmark. I guess the month because he mentioned strawberries, which they grew at their farm.
