Official letter sent by the War Office to the mother of Private John H. Wardle (sic) of the Durham Light Infantry, in response to her enquiry addressed to the British Red Cross Society, saying that her son's name has not appeared in any casualty list that has so far been received, but that further enquiries will be made. Part of a collection relating to John H. Wardell.
