Official letter sent with the British War and Victory Medal awarded posthumously to Gunner John W. Blades (Service Number 1813) of the Royal Field Artillery. The letter bears the stamp of the RH and RFA Records Office, Woolwich, dated 6th January 1922, and was probably sent to his mother. Part of a collection relating to John W. and Arthur Blades, deposited by Arthur Blades's niece.
