57598: Official letter accompanying British War Medal

Official letter (Army Form W. 5112) sent with the British War Medal issued to Gnr J Cawkwell (Service Number 20595) of the Royal Field Artillery. The letter was issued by the Record Office, and bears a partial stamp which appears to say Woolwich, and gives a date in December 1920. Part of a collection relating to John Cawkwell.
