Wooden crosses bearing poppies left as a symbol of remembrance at the Thiepval Memorial, Somme, France. The Thiepval Memorial commemorates almost 73,000 soldiers who died on the Somme battlefields between July 1915 and 20th March 1918 who have no known grave.
