<p dir="ltr">Private 265283 Rowland Williams, Royal Welsh Fusiliers, was the recipient of a Gold Medal presented by the King of Serbia for distinguished service in Egypt, 7th September 1916.</p> <p>Note the Khaki Denim shorts, indicating that this photograph was taken in the Eastern Theatre of war.</p>
