An article from The Daily Mail, Hull, which appeared on 10th March 1984, about Private Charles Green. Included are quotations from Green's letters home and from the letter sent to his parents breaking the news of his death, plus a photograph of Green.
Part of a collection relating to Charles Green, who served as a machine gunner with the 7th Battalion of the East Yorkshire Regiment, and was killed on 8th February 1917, in the Somme area of France.
