Taken from the site of the Beaurevoir-Fonsomme Line, initially known as the ""Hindenburg Support Line"" looking east, just outside Joncourt. The valley is the location where Owen advanced with the 2nd Manchesters at 8.30am on 29th September 1918 and won his Military Cross decoration.
