A highly decorated colour-printed sheet of paper, headed "A memento of the Great War". Below this is a decorative image (including Union Flags, a laurel wreath bearing small plaques with writing on them, and what seems to be a sphinx at the centre). About halfway down, the words "5th Battn. The Lincolnshire Regt." appear, and beneath them is a list of place names (presumably those visited by the battalion), including Ypres and Egypt, a few of which are accompanied by dates.

Part of a collection relating to John Manchester, deposited by his daughter-in-law, who describes him as "a very modest man". Manchester (Service Number 240698) served with the 1/5th Battalion of the Lincolnshire Regiment as a corporal and later a sergeant, and was awarded the DCM.
