These items relate to Edward Lester (1898-1967) who was a prisoner of war. His injuries were slight but kept him out of the Second World War.

Certificate for award of War Badge to Edward Lester (given to those invalided out of the army through sickness or being wounded).

Private 5263 Edward William Lester, 16th Lancers, was taken prisoner having been wounded by Machine Gun fire.
