Editor's Comment:
Card giving details of Pte. Lester's wound, in German and English: 'Part of the right side of the breast [?] (machine gun)'.
Private 5263 Edward William Lester, 16th Lancers, was taken prisoner having been wounded by Machine Gun fire.
