<p dir="ltr">Two Portugese Staff officers with two junior officers and horse. Note man second from right carries a Small Box Respirator supplied by the British. The first men of the Corpo ExpedicionÃ¡rio PortuguÃªs (Portugese Expeditionary Corps) arrived in France on 2nd February 1917.</p>
