'The Voice of Beauty Drowned' is the fifth of six poems in 'Country Sentiment' that appeared in November 1919 in 'Georgian Poetry 1918-1919'. Edward Marsh, the editor, wrote to Graves with a number of corrections, but his letter arrived after Graves' had already returned the final proofs. See Graves, B. and Ward, D.
