One of five brothers, the sons of Arthur and Mary Perry from Tean in Staffordshire. They were my great-uncles. All served in the Great War. Edmund (Ted) was the only one who survived.

Private James Perry 1230, in 1st Battalion Highland Light Infantry, died of wounds 20/03/1915 aged 21yrs and is buried in Plot A, Row 5, Grave number 24 in St.Sever Cemetery, Rouen.
