Lance Corporal Leonard Haynes No 26356 C Company 17 Welsh Regiment, was apparently on guard duty one evening whilst serving in France (sometime between June 1916 and February 1918). He had been told not to give anyone directions if asked. He was approache
At some point gransha spent some time at No 1 Dysentry Camp, 24 Stationary Hospital Rouen. Whether the family story about his encounter with the Prince of Wales happened here I have been unable to find out.
