53954: Second Letter from Oliver Lodge to Harold Begbie

This letter from Sir Oliver Lodge to Harold Begbie concerns the death of Lodge's son Raymond killed in action on the 14th September 1915. The 'knowledge that brought comfort' would be Lodge's belief in the possibility of contacting the dead through spiritualism.
