This is a card from Mme Larrouy in Laon (Aisne) to my Grandmother in Crouch End. They at met while students at Homerton College, Cambridge, in the early 1900's. The picture on the postcard is captioned: ' Laon “ Le Pont du Funiculaire, detruit par les Allemands' Daddy was my Grandfather, who had taken schools in Modern history at St. Cath's in 1903. It was called Non- Collegiate Students at the time.
