"To my dear wife" pencilled on the back. Lawrence was a carpenter in West Wittering, Sussex before & after the war.

Editor's Comment: Dates 1914, 1915, 1916, 1917, 1918, as flags of the Allies: 'Souvenir from France'. With card insert: a miniature of a woman in fron of flags of the Allies: 'Forget me not'.
