This letter to the soldier's parents confirms he IS a Prisoner of War and his welfare is in the hands of the Red Cross.
Editor's Comment: Pte. 316448 Leonard E. Green, 1/5th Bn. Northumberland Fusiliers, was reported Missing in Action on 23rd March 1918 and officially declared dead, twice, before his status as a Prisoner of War was confirmed.
