53908: Official notification of "Killed in Action", sent to Leonard Green's parents

<p dir="ltr">This official report of Pte Green's death in action is dated 18th September and included the stanard message of sympathy from the King.</p> <p>Editor's Comment: Pte. 316448 Leonard E. Green, 1/5th Bn. Northumberland Fusiliers, was reported Missing in Action on 23rd March 1918 and officially declared dead, twice, before his status as a Prisoner of War was confirmed.</p>
