With patriotic illustration, signed 'I. Rosenberg'. Rosenberg submitted the design and the poem for the 40th Division Christmas card in 1917, but it was not chosen. Written beside the poem, not in Rosenberg's hand, is written in pencil 'spelling incorrect', 'Beaucamp' referring to Rosenberg's misspelling of the name (as 'Beachamps') in his accompanying drawing, and 'original poetry'.
