53689: A factory manufacturing petrol tins

The Asiatic Petroleum Company (a joint venture between Shell and Royal Dutch) manufactured Petrol Tins for the war effort at a small factory in Fulham. The Shell logo can be seen on the tins. Women were employed because so many men were away at the front.
