Hand drawn map of a trench system from a leaf of a Field Message Book, detailing a company defense scheme.
From the effects of Lieutenant Wharton Rye Collinge, 2nd/6th (Rifle) Bn. The King's (Liverpool Regiment), who died of gas poisoning 7th August 1917 and is buried in Merville Communal Cemetery.
