Leter written to Beatrice describing his wounds and illness, from which he was soon to die. It is incorrectly dated 1917. Found with his son's belongings in 1987.
Editor's Comment:
Letter written on Y.M.C.A. headed notepaper: 'On Active Service With the British Expeditionary Force'.
His name is erroneously spelt 'Bromwick' on his medal card, held by the National Archives.
