<p dir="ltr">This is the promotion of Violet Nye who became an Auxillary Controller in Queen Mary Army Auxillary Corps.</p><p dir="ltr">Editor's Comment: <br>Cutting from newsletter of Queen Mary's Army Auxiliary Corps, including: a poem by J. M. Erskine, beginning: 'That we've not joined to "swank" it for | pay, or for fun,'; an article, titled: 'An Englishwoman's Experiences on a Journey to the Eastern Front', by Constance Smith, officer in charge Drafing Depot, Gateshead; lists of discharged persons and promotions.</p><p dir="ltr">The Women's Auxiliary Army Corps became Queen Mary's Auxiliary Army Corps in April 1918.</p><p dir="ltr">Notification of Viloet Nye's promotion to the rank of Deputy Administrator.</p>
