52664: Inauguration of the Gedge Medal

<p dir="ltr">Joseph Theodore Gedge [1878-1914] was the first British officer killed in the war. The Royal Navy inaugurated a medal in his memory. This is the letter sent to his father to confirm the arrangements had been made.</p>
