Reggie was estranged from his own family, and Len offered for him to correspond with his (Len's) father and family. This is the first of the letters.

Acting Bombardier 121476 George (Reggie) Crooke, 113th Bty. 25th Bde., Royal Field Artillery, died 5th October 1918, aged 26, buried Berthaucourt Communal Cemetery, Pontru.
