Pencil draft with one pencil alteration of incomplete poem entitled 'The Young Dead', later incorporated into 'Dad Man's Dump' as lines 14-19, followed by four unused lines, then lines 20-24, remainder unused. Paper torn prior to use by Isaac Rosenberg, who was transferred to the 40th Division Works Battalion in January 1917, meaning that part of his responsibility became taking wire up to the line at night. |

Lines 1-23 of this poem on frontside of this paper, which was torn prior to use by Isaac Rosenberg. He was transferred to the 40th Division Works Battalion in January 1917, meaning that part of his responsibility was taking wire up to the line at night.
