Editor's Comment: A Hickling Local History Group publication, based on the notebook of Waldo Beales, 9th and 1st bns. Norfolk Regiment (seriously wounded in the attack on Guillemont during the battle of the Somme, 1916, and invalided out of the army). Includes a photograph and postcards.
