Lower part composed of Typescript taken from drafts shown in images 269-271, with ink corrections of typing errors and pencil alterations and additions. Contains lines 1-3, 15-17, and 20-61. The previous line 43 has been replaced with the line in the published text, and line 48 has been added in pencil. The title and lines 1-9 of the published of the lower part of the Typescript have been covered with a piece of glued paper containing lines 1-19 of the published version written in pencil. In the lower left corner 'A. R.' is written in pencil, and in the lower right corner Annie Rosenberg has written in ink 'Pte. I. Rosenberg / B. E. F. France / May 1917'. On the reverse 'C' is written in pencil. the paper has been folded in eight, and is torn and muddy. No complete manuscript of 'Daughters of War' has been located.
