online resource
posted on 2024-01-16, 17:20 authored by Lest We Forget Project Team

George Arthur Neasham was a Royal Marine. He was aboard HMS Yarmouth and wrote an account of the Battle of Jutland from a Marine's eye view. The letter was originally handwritten whilst at sae and typed up by George when he came home.

George was a fully paid up member of the Communist Party and hence fought hard for his rights after the war.
