<p dir="ltr">My aunt, Nellie Foster (b 1896), met John (Jack) B Speight of 28 Tudor St, Manchester Rd., before the war. He was reported missing but there is no information regarding his service. Nellie never married and died in 1977. The brooch was sent by John to Nellie from France.</p>
