Basic training book belonging to Dugald Matheson

Map reading and panorama sketching book, issued to DM in basic training

Father's medals from WW1. He joined up from university, and received the two medals, one for his service, and one for skill with a rifle, Musketry medal. Also Royal Scots badge, worn during the war while serving in France, 1917-1918. He survived the war.
