Studying at Oxford, I had hoped to work in beautiful old libraries, surrounded by my fellow students; I had hoped, after studying, to be able to retire to the pub with my friends. As it is, I work and take classes in my room, my sunlamp on to ensure that I don't become tired as it becomes dark at 4pm. I take a 30 minute walk daily after I have finished my work for the day (the sun has now set or, if I'm lucky, setting). Pubs are closed, and I haven't made the friends I had hoped, with social contacted legally limited. The general sense is one of combined inertia and anxiety, but this has persisted since the outbreak began - around 8 months ago.

The sunset tree is on my daily walk into south park. The sunlamp helps me stay focussed in my room, where my entire university experience now takes place.
