32411: No Trick or Treat

online resource
posted on 2023-12-08, 21:48 authored by Lockdown2020 and Beyond Project

Due to the CoVID restrictions 'Trick or Treating' was discouraged as children would be mixing too much outside of their households, handling sweets, etc. So our local neighbourhood organised a 'spooky safari' trail around the area where houses put up displays in their front windows/gardens. Families walked around it in their bubble, and parents gave 'treats' to the children every time they saw a display.
