Goodbye to red carnations, post exam celebrations Infatuations with being coated in shaving foam And fascination with jumping into the river Soaking my totally trashed gown Almost losing my plastic crown And trying not drown, with the weight of the flower garland
Goodbye to unstable punting, garden party bunting, and hunting, hunting down those lecture notes If you don't find them they'll appear on the exam, no doubt But this term really was about missing out
The end is close, but it doesn't seem right You might think open book would bring delight But it's the unknown that is fear And the unknown did appear With paper formats being changed a few weeks before the exam It is out of hand, it's just not what I'd planned for the last 3 years

Waiting
For the email to come
With results, saying my degree is officially done
A fitting way to mark the end
As like my exams,
It'll all be on a screen
At home
Isolating
