I try to emulate my normal working pattern. Wake up at 6.00, then breakfast, then on my bike for a 90-minute ''commute'' to work. Start work at 9.00 and adhere to our child's school timetable - tea break at 10.50, lunch at 13.10. Back to work at 14.00 finish 17.00-ish. Household chores then evening lockdown. Lots of Zoom and Teams meetings, and lots of sunshine outside.

Message for the future

If only we had a government we could trust to deliver us from the perils of Covid-19. I fear for our future if Johnson and his cohorts remain at the helm.
