I would usually buy flour in 1.5kg bags from the supermarket. However, during the lockdown it has become impossible to obtain some staples, including bread flour and yeast from the usual sources. The result is that some have resorted to buying in bulk and dividing it up between friends, as happened with me. It has felt like some sort of black market when I have had to turn up at someone's house to collect my share of flour and yeast.
