Clara Gardner created a scrapbook of items relating to her son, Sidney 'Sid' Gardner, who fell in action aged 24 on 12 May 1917. The scrapbook was in fact Sid's old autograph book which he took with him to the front. Sidney is buried in Bunyans Cemetery, Tilloy-Les-Mofflaines.
