3100: Ernest Hobson, Prisoner of War

Ernest Hobson joined the 2/5 West Yorkshire Regiment. He was taken a POW after being captured in a pill box. He was at Lager Giessen from 27.3.1918 until the end of the war. He was well treated in the camp and sometimes the prisoners had more to eat than the guards due to the Red Cross parcels.
