2776: Norman Edward Quick

This is a photo of the CWGC Jerusalem Memorial where Norman Quick (and others) are commemorated. He was killed on March 26th 1917 in the fighting around Jerusalem (he served with 5th Battalion Welch Regiment) and was from Pontypridd. I got to know his sister who used to lodge with my grandmother and when she died I was given for safekeeping the Bible, medals and other ephemera about Norman. My Gran named her second some Norman is memory of him.
