Lance Corporal Roger Richardson was a signaller in West Yorkshire Regiment. He was taken a prisoner of war.

In the documents there is a letter to his mum dated 24.12.1915, a Red Cross letter to the family saying Roger's whereabouts were unknown; letter from Roger in POW camp, 'welcome from release' letter from the King, order of service for unveiling of a war memorial for 5th Battalion West Yorks.
